Prague, Czech Republic 2012
Greetings everyone! Welcome to the Czech Republic, and to the beautiful city of Prague! Home to the famous Prague Castle, and Prague Zoo, there was definitely no shortage of activities to keep us busy!
Once again, Czech cuisine was an absolute highlight. Whether it be roast pork with dumplings or delicious apple strudel, every dining experience was an absolute culinary pleasure. Amazing value too, it wouldn’t be uncommon to have a gourmet three course meal and only pay $15 AUD.
By our last night we were actually Czeched out (food wise), thus deciding to try the best Thai restaurant in Prague (arguably). Entering Lemon Leaf featuring giant windows and lofty ceilings, it had a lovely airy feel. The food was fresh and flavorsome, the service was impeccable. Everything from the spring roll entree to the tofu & spinach main, all dishes were of a very high quality, some of the best Thai I’ve had without a doubt. Finishing the night with fried ice cream and premium green tea, Nick and I finished our time in Prague with a big smile and a full stomach.
Up next….one of my favorite cities in the world, Berlin!
