Copenhagen, Denmark 2012

As the European adventure continues, I bring you to the gorgeous capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. Staying in a tiny b&b in the suburbs (quite a distance from the city), Nick and I were rather fortunate that Copenhagen had such a wonderful public transport system. Fast metro line, with frequent trains and buses made getting around very easy!

The city itself had something for everyone. Wonderful restaurant and cafe choices, plenty of shopping strips (including an Abercrombie & Fitch store - call me superficial, but its my personal favorite) and absolutely gorgeous water views.

Being in Denmark, I had to try the traditional Danish dish called Smorrebrod. In other words - a Danish open sandwich. Traditionally used with rye bread and a wide range of toppings, there is definitely a combination for everyone!

Of course being in Scandinavia, most things were rather expensive - but you certainly pay for the quality! Definitely one of my favorite cities thus far.

Up next…..Stockholm!
