A Mothers Milk - Adelaide eats

Sunday, the day of BRUNCH!!

Oh hello A Mothers Milk (yeah, can’t say I’m a fan of the name), it’s lovely to see you again.

Arriving to a flurry of ravenous patrons, we were seated after a short wait - not too shabby.

Brunch lovers take note - the cafe offers single origin coffee an all day breakfast, essential features for any serious brunching cafe.

Apple and pear bircher muesli with natural yoghurt and toasted hazelnuts $10

The bircher was superb. Accompanied with a side of honey, the muesli was smooth and oh so velvety. Fresh apple and pear mixing flawlessly with the toasted hazelnuts - crunchy, sweet and perfectly balanced.

Tash’s breakfast. Willabrand poached figlettes in pear & saffron syrup, udder delights goats curd on toasted sourdough $11

Not much of a coffee drinker? No biggie! They offer a fairly decent range of juices, smoothies, and loose leaf tea.

Carrot, lemon & ginger juice $7

Invigoration - come at me! Crisp and refreshing - a great source of antioxidants too! (Although, it arrived with ice, after I specifically asked for NO ICE #firstworldproblem!)

Despite being under intense pressure, the staff are usually friendly. Although, better communication between staff members wouldn’t go astray, we ended up having several waiters during our visit, initially making us feel quite rushed.

I enjoyed our brunch, the food was great and clearly made with love. There are better places if you’re after a more relaxed catchup, but it does have a very spirited atmosphere. Give it a try, I’d love to know what you think!

Until next time, happy eats :)
